Oʻahu Communities We Serve

The Koʻolau range in cloud above Windward Oʻahu

If you're buying or selling on Oʻahu, the advice that helps you is specific to your neighborhood, not to the island. Corinda Wong's answer when someone asks how the market is doing: it depends on the area, and everything is more specific than you might realize. Two homes on opposite sides of the same street can be worth different amounts.

Team Wong Hawaiʻi is a three-generation family team of seven licensed agents, based in Kailua. Kailua and the rest of Windward Oʻahu are where we work most. Trust, estate, and downsizing work takes us across the rest of the island, and our agents travel to clients wherever they are.

Kailua and Windward Oʻahu

Kailua is our home base. Our office is at 46 Hoolai St, Suite D, and Corinda has kept a personal presence in this community for more than 25 years, with 37 years in Hawaiʻi real estate behind her.

Team Wong Hawaiʻi is ranked #1 in Kailua in transactions across more than two decades, by cumulative transaction sides from 2005 to 2025, per Honolulu Board of Realtors MLS data. On 2025 data, RealTrends Verified ranked the team #2 in Kailua by both sales volume and transaction sides, with 45 sides and $45.25 million in volume. Our listings here have averaged 18 days on market, against a Kailua average of 35 days.

Within Kailua we work in the sub-neighborhoods. Prices and preparation needs differ from one to the next:

  • Lanikai
  • Maunawili
  • Enchanted Lake
  • Keolu Hills
  • Olomana
  • Kaʻōpā

We also represent buyers and sellers in Kāneʻohe and Waimānalo, the other two communities at the core of our business.

What Is Your Home Worth?

Honolulu and East Oʻahu

Much of our work in town comes through trust, probate, and estate sales, where the family is often out of state and needs someone handling the property locally. We have completed more than 350 trust and estate transactions. Corinda holds an accounting degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, so she can talk through proceeds, basis, and timing directly with trustees, estate attorneys, and CPAs.

Communities we cover on this side of the island:

  • Honolulu
  • Kakaʻako
  • Kaimukī
  • Kāhala
  • Mānoa
  • Nuʻuanu
  • Punchbowl
  • Makiki
  • Waikīkī
  • Hawaiʻi Kai

Central Oʻahu, West Oʻahu, and the North Shore

Estate and downsizing work has taken us well beyond the Windward side, including several recent transactions in Pearl City. New construction accounts for much of the rest: we represent buyers in Oʻahu's development pipeline, including Hoʻopili, Koa Ridge, Ward Village, Kaʻulu, Kahuina, Kuilei Place, and Alia Kakaʻako. Buyers can go straight to a developer's sales office, but the developer pays the brokerage fee either way, so having your own agent at the table costs you nothing.

  • ʻAiea

  • Waipahu
  • Kapolei

What we handle in every community

We're a residential team. That means single-family homes, townhouses, and condominiums, both resale and new construction. No land, no multi-family, no commercial.

What you needWhat that looks like with us
SellingPricing strategy, preparation and staging, negotiation, and a net-proceeds review, so you know your number before you commit. About 70% of our business is listings.
BuyingPre-approval, a personalized search, and offer strategy shaped by how much listing work we do. More than 60% of our buyers are buying their first home.
DownsizingGuidance for kūpuna and their families, backed by the SRES® designation and paced around senior-living waitlists rather than a sale date.
Trust, probate, and estateLocal handling of the property and the process for trustees and heirs, including families on the mainland.
Investment and 1031 exchangeTiming rules, identification windows, and proceeds strategy, explained by someone with formal financial training.

Where to start

If you're selling, the first useful step is a valuation based on recent sales near you. If you're buying, it's pre-approval, because it tells you what you can actually offer. You can also read our Oʻahu market updates on the blog.

Either way, you can call and talk it through first. Corinda's approach is to take the stress off: systems, timelines, and a clear picture of what happens next. More than 100 clients have left us Google reviews, at a 5.0 rating, and the words that come up most often are calm, organized, and patient.
